Barge Skipper and Crane Operator
Teo runs the Hold Fast, our 60-foot crane barge, and sets every pile we drive.
He can place a two-tonne float within a few centimetres of its mark in a running tide, and he does most of it by feel.
Teo spent twelve years on log barges up the coast before joining us, and he still knows every anchorage between Victoria and Nanaimo.
FUN FACT
Teo has a name for every crane hook on the barge, and he will tell you each one’s mood.
